What is Luminart?

Luminart is one of the most innovative technologies and business opportunities in the sign making and advertising industries! Luminart is a combination of a unique and proprietary gel, Luminite, which when applied to any sign medium adds the missing 3rd dimension to any advertising or marketing piece, creating Luminart.

Luminart is the final product that results from the application of Luminite gel to any media piece. Unlike neon, fluorescent, or LED technologies, Luminite is not restricted to a fixed pre design. Luminite gel can be applied in any thickness, along any path, and to nearly every kind of media.

Traditional Luminart pieces involve the application of Luminite gel to an acrylic, glass, or plastic surface. The Luminart is then placed in front of any light source, the transmission of light through the media. When the light hits the Luminite gel, the Luminite actually glows demonstrating a brightness nearly the same as neon.

Through the use of Luminite gel, nearly any digital print, vinyl sign, engraved glass, or other substrate can be enhanced through the application of Luminite gel. Luminart’s creative potential is limitless. 

Luminart can be created through the use of a Luminart machine, or by hand by any creative artist. Luminart machines are able to output the paths in any vector based art file, essentially making any design possible in Luminart.
